ALBUQUERQUE, NM - The Albuquerque International Sunport and the Visit Albuquerque are proud to announce that Boyd Group International has selected Albuquerque as the site of their 16th Annual International Aviation Forecast Summit. More than 300 industry leaders are expected to attend this conference to learn about trends in the airline industry and forecast data of what to expect in the years ahead.

The conference, hosted by the Albuquerque International Sunport, will be held August 28 – 30, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa, and will cover many issues facing aviation including volatile fuel prices, global fleet trends, alliances, technological advances, air traffic control issues, and evolving marketing strategies in the aviation field.

For almost two decades, this event has had an exceptional track record for accurate forecasting for aviation, and we will be providing forecasts in the following areas at this year’s Summit: Aviation Trends, Global Fleet Demand, Airline Strategies and US Air Traffic Projections.

“It is a privilege for our community to host this summit,” said Albuquerque Mayor Richard J. Berry. “Boyd Group International has set the standard for aviation forecasting and we look forward to welcoming them and the industry leaders to our great city.”
