Albuquerque Convention & Visitors Bureau announces staff changes

 

The Albuquerque Convention & Visitors Bureau congratulates three staff members who were recently promoted.

Anita Sahi, Senior National Sales Manager Non-Center

Anita Sahi has been promoted to Senior National Sales Manager Non-Center. She has been working at the ACVB for over 8 years focusing primarily on the Washington D.C. area market for non-convention center sales. Before joining ACVB, Sahi had 10 years experience in the hotel industry. She looks forward to continuing her efforts in D.C. as she enjoys the fast pace and level of professionalism of this region. Additionally, she is grateful for the client loyalty as well as friendships with colleagues that she has been able to foster over the years.

Bonnie Miller, National Sales Manager

Bonnie Miller recently moved from the Convention Services Department to join the Convention Sales staff as National Sales Manager for non-convention center meetings based in the East Coast market. Miller has been at ACVB for two years. Prior to moving to Albuquerque in 2004, she lived on the East Coast and is passionate about bringing clients from that region to experience Albuquerque.

Monique Lucero, Convention & Visitor Services Coordinator

Monique Lucero was recently named as the new Convention Services Coordinator. She will move from being a Convention Sales Assistant to the Convention Services Department. Lucero will service convention groups of 50 attendees per night or less, assist with requests for visitor information, help coordinate familiarization tours for meeting planners, among other duties. Lucero has been with the Bureau for one-and-a-half years. She says she is thrilled to take on a new challenge, excited to learn new skills and grow within the hospitality industry.
