ACVB Announces New Board of Directors

Pam Bazant-Jung welcomed as new board chair
ALBUQUERQUE – The Albuquerque Convention and Visitors Bureau (ACVB) is pleased to announce the Board of Directors for the fiscal year 2008-2009. The new board was elected by a unanimous vote at the 2008 ACVB Annual Luncheon.
Leading the Board of Directors is native New Mexican, Pam Bazant-Jung, President of Heritage Hotels & Resorts. Bazant-Jung has overseen more than $30 million in construction projects. These projects include the transformation of franchised hotel properties such as Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town, Lodge at Santa Fe, and Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces into independent, authentic and culturally distinct hotels. Pam also oversees the branding initiatives that have made Heritage Hotels & Resorts one of the most recognized companies in the Southwest.
Bazant-Jung has been an ACVB board member since 2004 and works with overseeing the progress for Albuquerque’s Destination Master Plan.
