Fantasía Fantástica Studio Tour with Nick Abdalla

Join the NHCC Visual Arts and Education team for a glimpse into Nick Abdalla's art studio. Walking into his art space is almost like entering a larger-than-life version of one of his sculptures as twisting shapes and materials sprawl across the floor and wall space. Abdalla is a former professor of art studio at the University of New Mexico and his work is featured in the NHCC Art Museum exhibition, "Fantasía Fantástica: Imaginative Spaces and Other-Worldy Collage". Abdalla will lead the studio tour, talk about his work and process, and let visitors explore the space where his fantastical creations take form. Note: Because space is limited (standing room only), each tour will only be able to accommodate 20 people.
