Concert: World-Renowned Organist Peter Richard Conte

Peter Richard Conte, now celebrating more than 25 years as Wanamaker Grand Court Organist in Philadelphia, will play a special concert at First Presbyterian Church, Albuquerque. Conte’s recital caps off a year of celebrating the 60th anniversary of one of New Mexico’s largest and most historic organs. Conte has established himself as a true showman with virtuosic skill. The concert will feature the great traditional repertoire of the pipe organ as well as mind-blowing transcriptions of orchestral music, that is, symphonic music adapted by Peter to the organ! In honor of Veteran’s Day, Conte will also play some patriotic music.
