Concert: Tootie Heath’s Whole Drum Truth

The touring version of Whole Drum Truth features a rotating lineup of legendary American jazz drummers including Ben Riley, Louis Hayes, Billy Hart and Peter Washington. They've sold out halls from New Orleans to Cape Town. Modern Drummer, called the Whole Drum Tuth project, "sheer joy and percussive intensity." Now residing in Santa Fe, Tootie Heath has formed a New Mexico version of The Whole Drum Truth featuring drummers John Trentacosta and Loren Bienvenu who will perform tonight at The Outpost.
