Art in the Afternoon: Paul Nielsen

Enjoy live music at the Albuquerque Museum! Come by to take advantage of free parking and admission during this energetic performance from Paul Nielsen. There will be food and drink specials provided by Slate at the Museum. Classical guitarist Paul Nielsen has a Master's degree in Music from The University of New Mexico and a Bachelor of Music degree from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. He studied guitar in Spain with Emilio Pujol and with Hector Garcia at UNM. Paul has been teaching in the Albuquerque Public Schools for 25 years and now teaches at Sandia Preparatory School. He is currently the president of Guitar New Mexico, a non-profit organization that sponsors guitar programs in New Mexico.
