10th Anniversary Gildan New Mexico Bowl in Albuquerque

Bowl season is approaching and for many that means football, friends and frequent trips to the grocery store for tortilla chips and chicken wings. Be sure you don't miss the college bowl game in the heart of our state: the Gildan New Mexico Bowl on December 19th. For the 10th anniversary, the game will be played at University Stadium in Albuquerque. The UNM Lobos and University of Arizona Wildcats will be battling for the coveted championship title. Albuquerque will be explosive with the sights and sounds of the first bowl game of the season!

Before the nail-biting action of the game, get yourself hyped at a pep rally in Historic Old Town. This event is free and open to the public. Wish the head coaches, team captains, band, cheerleaders and mascots good luck before the climax of their 2015 football season.

When you need a break from all the excitement, stop by the giant Albuquerque Frame inside the stadium and get a free photo with the Sandia mountains and sky as a gorgeous backdrop. Along with your keepsake picture, be sure to pick up coupons redeemable around the city and an official visitors guide to get the most out of Albuquerque.

Whether you're a die-hard football fan or one who doesn't know the difference between a first down and a touch down, it will be an exciting experience that is completely "Albuquerquean". It's looking to be a packed house so be sure and get your tickets early!
